The land at 9290 Old Redwood Highway in Windsor was the longtime home of the 336 space Windsorland Mobile Home Park, until it was sold by its longtime owner in 2007* to provide an opportunity for additional units in a more vibrant residential setting.

The Future (breaking ground in 2018): Vintage Oaks on the Town Green

Since the project team first revised plans for Bell Village, residents spoke – and we listened – by making revisions to the project that will better serve the needs of residents and the community.

The new plans, now known as Vintage Oaks on the Town Green, were approved by the Windsor Town Council on May 18, 2016, and will provide:

• 189 townhomes and 198 stacked flat apartments for a total of 387 units
• Elevator access for 146 units (38% of the total number of residences) to accommodate senior citizens and the disabled
• The preservation of 104 protected oak trees, 47 more than the original Bisno plans and 26 more than what was approved by the Town Council in 2011
• The planting of at least 2 new trees for every oak that is removed
• Significant open space and oak grove areas
• Improved access for emergency personnel to keep residents as safe as possible
• Solar lighting and solar panels on common areas
• Electric vehicle charging stations, including 2 fast charging stations
